For Providers — the Inclusive Healthcare Partnership Project

The development of provider training focused on two topics -- disability etiquette and communication with people with I/DD. IHPP will target federally qualified health clinics and other sites that provide healthcare to underserved population in its outreach and the live delivery of this training. Webinars will also be posted on the Internet.

Relationship-Centered Communication defined and Framework for Equity-Centered health Communication.

The Department of Health, Division of Health Promotion and Chronic Disease has committed to securing training opportunities at federally qualified health centers. Work with the Department of Health, Bi-State Primary Care, and professional associations for healthcare providers to secure additional invitations. The goal is to present the two trainings live at least 4 times each (8 total trainings).
